Our Story: From Muddy Paws to a Local Solution

Hood River is our playground, but as any local knows, an adventure in The Gorge usually ends with a very dirty dog. After years of kayaking trips, camping weekends, and countless muddy hikes, I realized I wasn’t the only one struggling to wash a wiggly dog in a bathtub at home.

I decided the community deserved something better, a place built specifically for us and our four-legged adventure buddies.

Built with Love (and a Little Elbow Grease)

Hood River Hound Wash isn’t just a business; it’s a passion project. It came to life with a lot of hard work, late nights, and more than a few scraped knuckles. I built this space to be the easy, stress-free solution I always wished I had after a long day on the trails.

Whether you’re coming back from a river day or a dusty off-road adventure, we’ve made sure our wash stations are simple to use and comfortable for pups of all sizes.
